Dabriel Choi is a serial entrepreneur with an impressive track record of success. By his mid-20s, he had already sold two companies. Over the past decade, he managed a venture capital fund specializing in life sciences. Under his leadership, the fund made 13 investments and achieved seven successful exits, with market capitalizations of up to €500 million.
Recognizing unmet market needs in prenatal care and witnessing groundbreaking technologies fail to reach the market, he sought to bridge this gap. This journey led to the licensing of the pioneering EIS technology, which became the foundation of EveryBaby. Driven by his passion for healthcare innovation, Dabriel founded EveryBaby.
His vision for EveryBaby is to revolutionize preterm birth diagnostics, ensuring that every mother has access to this life-saving technology and that every baby has the best possible start in life.

Dr. Gordon Scarth is a seasoned expert in medical device development and commercialization, with over 25 years of experience. As a former Vice President of Research and Development, he has successfully delivered high-value products that address critical market needs.
Gordon's expertise spans diverse technology areas, including Medical Ablation, Medical Robotics, and Medical Imaging (MR/CT/Angio), as well as Neuro-Navigation, Optical Switching, Media Streaming, IP, and wireless technologies. His proven track record in leading multidisciplinary teams and driving innovation has made him a trusted leader in advancing cutting-edge solutions for healthcare.

Dr. Shaolin Liang

Dr. Shaolin Liang is a biomedical scientist specializing in obstetrics and gynaecology, with over a decade of academic research and teaching experience. Complementing his academic achievements, he has 8 years of expertise in commercializing medical technologies, making him uniquely skilled at bridging the gap between academia and industry.
Dr. Liang excels at integrating cutting-edge interdisciplinary technologies, such as biosensors, AI, and health informatics, into reproductive medicine. With a proven ability to lead large-scale research projects and foster impactful collaborations, he has contributed significantly to advancements in reproductive medicine and maternal-fetal health.

Sunny Gong
Executive Projects Manager
Sunny Gong brings extensive expertise in managing over 30 biomedical projects and leading entrepreneurial ventures across diverse industries. Her experience spans from developing educational platforms and weather apps to founding an organic cosmetics startup, showcasing her versatility and innovative approach to business development and project leadership.
Sunny has successfully driven a wide range of initiatives, including organ preservation solutions and atrial fibrillation catheter development. Her strategic acumen extends to securing and managing over 30 projects, amounting to €4 million in funding, underscoring her ability to align resources with impactful outcomes.

Dr. Yongjin Choi
Sr. Research Fellow
Dr. Yongjin Choi has worked on developing predictive models that combine machine learning and large-scale public records to predict low birth weight and preterm birth. He is also affiliated with London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). At LSHTM, his research explores global surveys to identify historical and socio-political roots of vaccine hesitancy in low- and middle-income countries, combining novel statistical modelling, survey experiments, and qualitative methods.
Dr. Choi's groundbreaking work has earned him prestigious accolades, including the 2022 Dissertation Award from the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA) for his exceptional dissertation, “Policy Side Effects: How Do Policies Become a Source of Social Problems?” He also received the 2022 Harold D. Lasswell Prize from Policy Sciences, further solidifying his reputation as an innovative thinker in public policy and health research.
